INSPECTION and
DIAGNOSIS -
Each turbocharger is disassembled and inspected for damage and anomalies.
These are noted and reported to the customer along with possible engine
problems that may have been the cause.
CLEANING - Turbine, compressor and
bearing housings are baked in our oven at seven hundred degrees for six
hours to remove carbon buildup, paint and other dirt. The housings are then
bead blasted, washed and treated for rust. The compressor housing is
polished. The turbine and compressor wheels are bead blasted, washed and
the shaft is cleaned and miked.
REPAIR - The bearing housing is
checked to conform to factory specs and repaired as necessary. The turbine
housing is checked for cracks, wear and other damage or anomalies then
repaired or replaced as needed. Both turbine and compressor wheels are
checked for damage and to conform to factory specs and repaired or replaced
as needed. The shaft is miked and inspected for ware and repaired or
replaced as needed.
BALANCING - Both turbine and compressor
wheels are balanced on both planes to exceed factory specs.
ASSEMBLY - Only ORIGINAL FACTORY PARTS
are used in the assembly of ALL turbochargers. NO AFTER MARKET PARTS are
used. All parts in the bearing housing are replaced with NEW OEM PARTS.
Constant checks are performed during assembly to insure everything is
within or exceed factory specs.
